Stephen was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he has spent much of his life involved with the practice of law in some manner. From an early age he was working in the family law firm as an office runner, investigator, legal assistant and is now a practicing attorney. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He then went on to receive his Law degree from the Southern University Law Center and has been practicing DWI and criminal defense law since 2012.
Stephen has been involved in handling over one thousand criminal matters. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association, Driving Under the Influence Defense Lawyers Association and Baton Rouge Criminal Defense Bar. He has trained in and completed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)/International Association of Chiefs of Police(IACP) Standardized Field Sobriety practitioner course (SFSTs), graduate of the Mastering Scientific Evidence Seminar sponsored by the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD) class of 2015.
